Explore Singapore with your camera on a fun 150-minute guided Photography Walking Tour with award-winning photographer Karen Lucas.
Date & Time: 22 Aug 5:30pm-8:00pm
Get hands-on tutoring as you capture the city’s Colonial-era iconic buildings located in the Raffles Hotel area. Learn when to use the wide angle and when to use the telephoto lens, how to incorporate people and movement in the shots, and how to shoot in the changing lighting conditions as day turns to night. Your instructor will guide you through controlling aperture, shutter speed and ISO.
Skills Required: Basic knowledge of Aperture and Shutter Speed Priority modes
Gear Required: DSLR camera (or similar) + Tripod

Suitability: This experience is for anyone with a basic knowledge of photography and an interest in exploring and photographing Singapore's iconic sights, colourful festivals and diverse neighbourhoods. Working knowledge of P (Program) and/or A/Av (Aperture Priority) modes recommended.
Location: Locations visited include: Chinatown, Arab Street, Little India, Thaipusam Festival, Hari Raya Festival, Sungei Buloh, Botanic Gardens and a fascinating collection of temples and monasteries, plus some of Singapore's off-the-beaten-track hidden gems.
Gear required: Any digital camera and comfortable walking shoes.
Session Length: 150 Minutes
Booking: Please allow two to four weeks for booking to ensure best choice across available courses.
Frequency / Numbers: There are different walks taking place every month and small groups of maximum 8 participants are taken to allow individualised attention and guidance.
Weather: This experience may be impacted by weather. In the event of bad weather, you'll be notified by text and email at least 1.5 hours before the event.
