Paddle to Pedal - Adult + Child

Paddle to pedal your free spirits into the adventures of Pulau Ubin through an incredible kayaking and cycling experience.

Get yourself up close and personal with the lesser-known scenic view, specific birds and animals sightings. Explore the historical landmarks of Pulau Ubin on this exciting one day package! You will smoothly row on the sea and explore the backwaters of the Sungei Jelutong, where you can enjoy its fascinating mangroves.

You will also take in the remarkable sights and sounds of the Kelongs (floating fish farms) as you paddle through the calm and serene waters of Jelutong. We will turn back and head to shore for some simple local fare for lunch. Enjoy the tranquil and some village-watching whilst you rest up for the next ride.

After that, we will proceed with our famous Ubin Bike Trail programme, where we take you to the side of Singapore you haven’t gotten to experience. The scenic routes are filled with specific animal sightings. (boars and monkeys) as well as historical landmarks.​

Programme Length: 8 hours

Time : 2.5 hours water time, lunch 1 hour, 3 hours cycling

Starting Time: 9:00am to 2:00pm Daily

Booking: Advance booking of 48hours required.

Conditions:

• Minimum 2 adults for programme to operate on the day which will operate in both dry and wet weather.
• Children must be at least 7 years old to participate, and children aged between 7-11 are charged child prices and must be accompanied by an adult at the ratio of 1 Adult : 1 Child. 

What's included: Experienced & Licensed Kayaking Guides (Singapore Canoe Federation) & all necessary equipment - kayaks, paddles & personal floatation devices. Personal Floatation devices must be worn by all participants and for the safety of participants, a mandatory floatation test will be conducted before kayaking.

What's not included: Bum boat transfers to Palau Ubin, personal gear, food and beverages. 

What to wear: Shorts, tshirt/rash top, covered shoes mandatory, hat, sunscreen, and mosquito spray.  Be prepared to get wet!

What to bring: 

• Hat / Cap
• T-shirt / Rash Guard
• Shorts / Bermudas / Surf Shorts
• Covered Footwear (*please note that barefoot, sandals and slippers are not allowed)
• A Change of Clothes
• Personal Toiletries and Towel for freshening up
• Personal Medications
• Keepers for eyewear
• If you wear contact lenses, please do bring a pair of spectacles just in case
• Sunscreen
• Snacks
• Money for bum boat and drinks/lunch
• Water Bottle (we recommend to bring at least a 1 litre water bottle) 

*Participants who come with inappropriate footwear will not be allowed to proceed with the program as a standard safety procedure.

Venue: Pulau Ubin, Singapore.  Meet your guide at 34 Pulau Ubin, Singapore 508287. 

Duration: Session takes approximately 5 hours.  Please allow sufficient time to arrive at Palau Ubin Jetty before the experience start time. 

Booking: Please book at least 48 hours in advance to avoid disappointment.

Availability: Courses run regularly throughout the year, with a minimum of two participants.

Numbers: This experience is for 1 person and is conducted in small groups to ensure personalised attention.

Spectators:  Not appropriate for spectators. 

Weather: This experience goes ahead in most conditions, however in the event of bad weather please contact the experience provider.
