After a quick set of pointers and a few minutes of practice you’ll master how to maneuver your eco-friendly Segway in no time. Then follow your guide over paved pathways for a memorable experience cruising past the beautiful sights and popular beaches of this island haven.

Your 2.5-hour tour showcases Sentosa’s key attractions, including a larger-than-life encounter with Singapore’s legendary icon, the majestic 121-foot-tall (37-meter) concrete Merlion. This mythical creature — think a lion’s head on a fish body — is considered a guardian of prosperity over the important seaport. Hop off your Segway and step foot inside the Merlion’s mouth to enjoy scenic views over the city.

The Southernmost Point of Continental Asia is another must-see attraction, and nothing can beat the panoramic vista from the viewing towers.

At the Dolphin Lagoon, you'll be amazed by the antics of the charming pink dolphins at play. Enjoy their friendly chatter and synchronized tail-walking as you sit back and watch these sea mammals show off their talents together with a group of frisky fur seals.

What is a Segway? The Segway Personal Transporter (PT) is the first of its kind-a self-balancing, personal transportation device designed to go anywhere people do. Easy to use and operate, the two-wheeled Segway sports high-tech gyroscopes that automatically respond to your body's movements, "sensing" when it should speed up and slow down. You stand on a small platform between left and right wheels as you hold onto handlebars at a comfortable waist height. The Segway handles the balancing for you, so that you're always upright as you glide through any environment.

Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes (tour times are approximate). Inclusive of training.

Tour Timings: 10.15am, 1:15pm, 5:00pm.

Ride Requirements: Participants must be over 42in (105cm) tall and weigh no more than 264lbs (120kg) and minimum age is 15 years old.

Departure Point: Beach Station, Sentosa.

Return Details: Returns to original departure point.
